PROPERTIES > The Little Arts Academy
The Little Arts Academy arose from a need to provide a systematic curriculum and a dedicated training space for beneficiaries of The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT-BAF) which was launched by The Arts House in 2005 to provide arts training for children with potential artistic talent who are distanced by social economic means and have neither prior nor little opportunity to realise their talent.
The well-equipped facility at PoMo opened in November 2008 and is specially designed to support The Little Arts Academy’s multidisciplinary curriculum covering Music, Dance, Theatre, Multimedia, Culinary Arts and Visual Arts. A key feature of The Little Arts Academy’s programming is its ability to give children and youths aged between 5 and 19 opportunities to stage public performances.
The Little Arts Academy is an education and outreach arm by The Arts House.
The Little Arts Academy is managed by The Old Parliament House Limited.
